International Delivery
Once your order has been successfully placed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your order number and item details. At Gifts Kids Want, we aim to dispatch orders the same working day—or the next working day at the latest. Orders placed after midday on Friday or over the weekend will be dispatched the following Monday.
You’ll receive a second email notification once your order has been dispatched.
We use two primary international shipping methods: Tracked International Airmail and Tracked FedEx Courier. FedEx is available in both Standard and Premium tiers, with pricing outlined in the tables below.
Shipping Options
Tracked International Airmail
Delivered via Royal Mail and its international partners, this service is available for orders up to £24.99 to over 80 countries. Delivery typically takes up to:
- 2 weeks to Europe and North America
- 3 weeks to other destinations
Tracked FedEx Courier Service
FedEx Standard Delivery: Typically arrives within:
- 3–7 working days (Europe & USA)
- 7–10 working days (Rest of the world)
A signature may be required upon delivery. You’ll receive an email from FedEx with tracking information once your order has shipped. If not, please contact our customer service team at [email protected] for your tracking number.
FedEx Premium Delivery: Our fastest option, delivering in:
- 1–3 working days (USA / Europe)
- 2–5 working days (Worldwide)
A signature is required. As with Standard delivery, tracking details will be sent by FedEx via email once dispatched. If you haven’t received them, please email our customer service team.
Please note: We are not responsible for any customs charges or import taxes. Please check with your country’s customs office for further information.

International Deliveries – Exemptions, Taxes & Surcharges
In rare cases, especially for unusually heavy or oversized parcels, our standard shipping rates may not cover the full delivery cost. If this happens, we will contact you with a postage surcharge. If you choose not to proceed, your order will be cancelled and refunded in full. If we don’t hear back within 7 days, we’ll automatically cancel and refund your order.
Import Taxes, Duties and Fees
Orders shipped outside the UK may be subject to local taxes, duties, or fees. These are determined by your country’s customs authority and may vary. Delivery companies (such as FedEx or your national postal service) may also add handling or admin fees.
By placing an international order, you agree to pay these charges if applicable. Most couriers will notify you of any fees on or before delivery.
If using FedEx and you have an account, let us know at checkout. FedEx can then bill you directly, potentially avoiding an admin fee.
As customs procedures vary by country, we are unable to predict charges in advance. Please consult your local customs office for guidance.
Refused or Undeliverable Parcels
If a parcel is returned due to:
- Refusal to pay duties or charges
- Incorrect address details
- Unavailability to receive the parcel
(excluding cases of damaged or faulty goods), you will be responsible for return shipping costs, original shipping costs, and any fees charged by the courier. These will be deducted from any refund issued.
Additional Country-Specific Notes
- Ceramics: Most ceramic items cannot be shipped to Spain
- Israel: Orders must be sent via FedEx
- China, Hong Kong & Taiwan: Orders must be under £100, unless a Customs Registration Code is provided
- Countries we cannot ship to: Afghanistan, Belarus, Libya, Russia, Somalia, Syria, Ukraine, and Yemen (due to sanctions or operational restrictions)
